Okay, one more thing: I’ve been without an RSS reader since a Chrome update left my beloved Fraidycat behind. (Was that in 2024?) Instead, I’ve made a habit of simply vis­iting a few of my favorite blogs, which is actu­ally not a bad way to do it, but nat­u­rally I miss the Jus­tice League Watch­tower of RSS.

No existing readers are a fit for me — all are too inbox-ish — so I’ve had a pro­to­type Sloan-ish view run­ning for a while, showing links to the latest items from all my feeds in one sprawling, semi-insane layout. No actual content; I am an avowed enemy of full-text RSS.

I’d like to zhuzh this up a bit (just a bit) and make it public — not as an application, but some­thing more like: “Here is Robin’s RSS universe. You may follow along, if you like.”

Need­less to say, Marcin’s new roost goes straight into the mix.
